The Strategic Initiatives – Project Manager plays a critical role in shaping the future of General Mills’ operations by managing high-impact, multi-functional, and cross-geographical projects. As an Individual Contributor, you’ll work closely with senior leadership across Global Shared Services (GSS) and other enterprise functions to lead projects aligned with global and regional business strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Oversight: Lead diverse projects such as business process transformation, operational innovation, organizational change, and work transition.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the bridge between global and local teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.

Transition Management: Drive work centralization efforts using the Right Work Right Place framework.

Change Management: Plan and execute robust change strategies across people, processes, and technology.

Data & Reporting: Maintain a centralized project database using platforms like Smartsheet, and generate PMO insights to guide decision-making.

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Leverage tools for ongoing process optimization and proactively mitigate project risks.

Capability Building: Contribute to a project management community of practice, enhancing knowledge sharing and standardization across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Administration
