About the Role

The Civil Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, bid proposals, and project budgets for civil construction and oil & gas projects. The position demands strong analytical and technical skills, as well as deep knowledge of project estimation processes, construction methods, and tender documentation.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost proposals, estimates, and bid submissions for various civil construction projects.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from tender drawings and project documents.
• Invite and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify potential project risks and value-engineering opportunities.
• Prepare labor, material, and subcontractor cost estimates with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Scheduling teams to ensure project alignment.
• Develop technical proposals, including method statements, construction procedures, and manpower/equipment histograms.

🎓 Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years of experience in estimation for Oil & Gas or civil construction projects.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with EPC / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas proposals is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and estimation tools like AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and estimation regulations.
